Jayne Campbell

Clinical Nurse Consultant, Wound, Stomal Therapy & Lymphoedema Specialist

Jayne Campbell is a highly respected Clinical Nurse Consultant with specialised expertise in wound care, stomal therapy, and lymphoedema management. With a strong clinical background across acute, community, and aged care settings, Jayne is known for her compassionate, evidence-based, and holistic approach to patient care.

Jayne’s clinical expertise includes:

  • Complex and chronic wound management
  • Pressure injury prevention and treatment
  • Diabetic and venous leg ulcers
  • Post-surgical and hard-to-heal wounds
  • Negative Pressure Wound Therapy
  • Comprehensive stomal therapy, including pre- and post-operative care, stoma site marking, appliance selection, and ongoing support
  • Lymphoedema management, including assessment, compression therapy, garment prescription, and pneumatic pump use

Jayne holds a Bachelor of Nursing, Graduate Certificate in Stomal Therapy, Masters in Healthcare Leadership, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and is a certified Lymphoedema Therapist (ALERT Program) equipping her with not only advanced clinical expertise but also the leadership and educational skills to guide service development and professional growth within the healthcare workforce.

Jayne is an active member of Hunter Wound Interest Group, Wounds Australia, the European Wound Management Association (EWMA), the Australian Association of Stomal Therapy Nurses (AASTN) and the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA), staying at the forefront of international best practices and clinical innovation.

In addition to her clinical consultancy, Jayne is a passionate educator and mentor, committed to advancing nursing capability through structured training, supervision, and workforce development initiatives. Jayne has previously held executive roles on both Hunter Wound Interest Group and Wounds Australia (NSW) committees.
