What types of wounds do you treat?
We treat a wide range of wounds including pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, venous leg ulcers, surgical wounds, atypical wounds, and hard-to-heal wounds.
Do I need a referral to access your services?
Referrals are accepted from GPs, specialists, aged care facilities, community nursing services, or you can self-refer with your GP’s details.
What areas do you service?
We provide services across the Hunter region and Australia-wide. We also offer telehealth consultations to support clients in rural and remote areas.
Do you provide home visits?
Yes, we offer home visits depending on location and clinical requirements. Telehealth is also available for remote support.
What is involved in a wound assessment?
A comprehensive clinical evaluation that considers the type of wound, medical history, psychosocial needs, and environment to create a holistic tailored care plan.
What is involved in a skin assessment?
A skin assessment is a full check of the skin from head to toe to look for any problems like pressure injuries, dry or irritated areas, skin tears, signs of infection, or poor blood flow.
Can you help with wound infections or slow healing?
Absolutely. We specialise in chronic, complex, or non-healing wounds, using advanced techniques like debridement and photobiomodulation therapy.
What is conservative sharp debridement?
It’s a technique where devitalised tissue is gently removed with sterile instruments to support wound healing and reduce infection risk.
Do you offer lymphoedema services?
Yes. Our accredited lymphoedema practitioners provide assessments, garment prescription, compression therapy, and education.
Can you help with stoma care before and after surgery?
Yes. We support patients through all stages of surgery including stoma site marking, appliance selection, education, and follow-up.
What is photobiomodulation (blue light) therapy?
A non-invasive treatment that uses blue light to promote healing, reduce pain and inflammation, and improve tissue regeneration.
Do you provide continence scripting?
Yes we can provide annual continence and variation consumable prescriptions for ICARE and Life time Care Participants.
Can you assist clients with spinal cord injuries?
We provide specialist wound care assessments and support for clients with spinal cord injuries, including pressure injury management.
Do you offer wound care education for staff?
Yes. We provide onsite and telehealth training for nursing and aged care staff on best-practice wound and stomal care.
What happens after the initial wound consult?
Our consultation also includes a digital image review 2 x weeks post consultation to assess wound progress, with the option to book a follow up if further intervention is needed.

Are your clinicians registered and accredited?
Yes. All clinicians are registered with AHPRA and affiliated with organisations like Wounds Australia, ALA, and AASTN.
Are you able to claim through the aged care package?
Yes, if your receiving a level 3 or level 4 Home care Package (HCP), you may be able to claim the cost of a clinical appointment through your package. However , this is subject to approval by your package provider or care manager.
Can we claim part of the fee from our private health insurance?
You may be able to claim a portion of the fee through your private health insurance, depending on your level of cover. Some health funds include nursing services or community nursing services as part of their extras cover. We recommend checking directly with your private health fund to confirm whether this applies to your policy and what documentation is required for reimbursement.
