Clinical Collaboration with Nurse Practitioner Margo Asimus

At Skin and Wound Care Consultancy, we are proud to collaborate with Nurse Practitioner Margo Asimus, a pioneer in wound management in Australia. In 2004, Margo became the first Nurse Practitioner authorised in Australia in the specialty of wound management.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Margo has significantly contributed to the field through clinical leadership, education, and research. She has served as the national president of Wounds Australia and has practised in advanced wound clinics throughout the Hunter area. Margo is also a co-editor of the textbook Wound Management for the Advanced Practitioner.

Margo’s expertise enhances our consultancy services, providing advanced clinical input, including prescribing, pathology, and further investigations when needed. This collaboration ensures our clients receive comprehensive, evidence-based wound management.
